MaVoie is dedicated to the reintegration of young “NEETs” (Not in Employment, Education, or Training), especially those who are neither registered with France Travail nor with the Local Mission. In three years, the association supported 62,000 young people, helping them regain a professional dynamic through online diagnostics and redirects to appropriate services.
To effectively reach these young people, MaVoie relies on a strong digital presence. With the majority of young people being active on social networks, it is crucial to be where they are. However, the non-profit sector, and even some foundations, are lagging behind in this area, with only 10% of their strategies focused on digital development. Moreover, the lack of synergy between existing initiatives complicates access to resources for these young people.
Digital Marauding : MaVoie uses social networks to engage young people in their job search. This modern approach makes it possible to reach them directly where they are active.
Personalized coaching : the association offers individual support, guiding young people at each stage of their career, from writing a CV to preparing interviews.
Mental health support : MaVoie also addresses mental health barriers, such as anxiety or depression, that can hinder access to employment. The association is currently developing a tool to help young people regain confidence in the job search process.
MaVoie launched a cover letter generator to help young people create powerful applications. This project responded to a crucial need: the lack of trust or support in letter writing. The tool was an immediate success with thousands of young people using it in a few months, thus validating the interest in automated and accessible solutions and revealing the need for practical digital resources.
MaVoie is in the process of integrating AI into two flagship projects under development to support young people in their professional reintegration: an interview simulator and a virtual coach. These tools, which are specifically designed to meet the needs of young people, take advantage of the benefits of AI.
The interview simulator will be intended to recreate realistic hiring scenarios adapted to the needs of the beneficiaries. The AI customizes questions based on the job description and the candidate's profile. This allows young people to train without pressure, receive immediate feedback and improve their skills for real interviews.
The virtual coach, on the other hand, aims to establish a first contact. Unlike a human coach, AI is available all the time, making it possible to respond instantly to young people's concerns. This motivates and engages them right from the start of the coaching process.
MaVoie encouraged a self-training and cross-training approach to develop the skills of its team, developers and collaborators already familiar with and passionate about AI animated presentations illustrating concrete use cases for the rest of the team.
As soon as he arrived, François Vilar, the association's product manager, exploited artificial intelligence to optimize the management of its products and anticipate future developments in MaVoie's services.
To understand his market and ecosystem, François uses ChatGPT to accelerate his secondary research. The tool summarizes data and reports (e.g.: INSEE) and provides an overview of existing initiatives. AI allows him to quickly increase his skills on the major challenges of the professional integration of young people: obstacles, tested levers, etc. and also helps him to structure his thoughts around a complete market study (SWOT analysis, segmentation).
It will also use AI to better understand users. When he took up his post, François relied on the work of Timothe Frin and Its special product prompt bank to explore the relevance of its vision and product strategy as well as to monitor or analyze its market thanks to its Prompt Bank.
In particular, it conducts an accelerated audit of user data using ChatGPT-4 with the following prompt:
“I want you to use these instructions to analyze the files and provide methodical answers that allow me to process and interpret the data effectively.”
The steps indicated were as follows:
Data loading : identification of the format (CSV, Excel) and reading via a Python DataFrame.
Preliminary examination : structural analysis to detect data types and anomalies.
Data cleaning : management of missing values, correction of errors and standardization of formats.
Exploratory analysis : identification of trends, patterns and user segmentation.
Information extraction : focus on points of interest, such as points of friction in integration processes.
Formulation of hypotheses : detection of relationships, causes and trends to be explored.
Presentation of the results : clear recommendations to guide the next steps in product optimization.
The analysis of this data allowed him to prioritize the optimizations to be made to the user experience and to identify key points of friction in the journey of young people.
François also used Instagram and TikTok to analyze the appetite of beneficiaries for AI solutions related to job search, quickly leading to a successful POC that automatically generates cover letters via ChatGPT.
Another concrete example of this AI culture is the creation of a prompt bank dedicated to supporting young people. This resource allows the team to generate ideas and solutions tailored to the needs of young people. AI is also used to optimize the monitoring of young people. By analyzing data from coaching sessions, AI helps to better understand individual needs, track the progress of beneficiaries and identify key stages in their journey. This allows for clear processes and reliable indicators to be put in place to measure progress.
The integration of AI at MaVoie is redefining the association approach, with an emphasis on efficiency, continuous improvement, and real impact. Tools like the interview simulator and the virtual coach don't just support young people, they redefine what “coaching” means by personalizing services, improving the accuracy of feedback and offering more rigorous follow-up.
The “test and learn” approach is at the heart of the MaVoie method, especially in the early phases of projects. Each solution put in place is continuously tested and adjusted according to the feedback of the beneficiaries, thus guaranteeing that the tools developed are really useful and relevant. AI is seen as a strategic ally, a support tool but never as an absolute truth.
AI allows MaVoie to focus on what really matters: the direct impact on young people. By automating administrative tasks and increasing service efficiency, AI frees up time to focus on what matters most. This model”Impact First“, also one of the most important values of Share it, is supported by Google and the use of the OpenAI and Gemini APIs, which allow the association to extend its AI capabilities and amplify its social impact.
The experience of MaVoie shows that AI is a lever for maximizing social impact and better meeting the needs of its beneficiaries. By adopting an approach of experimentation and learning, each organization can discover how AI can enrich its actions and transform its support model.
